Bourton-on-the-picturesque Water's high street runs along the River Windrush, which is crossed by several low stone bridges. An annual football match is played in the River Windrush, with spectators lining the banks, to score as many goals and get as wet as possible. The village has The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens, a Dragonfly Maze, monthly farmers' market, tea rooms, an artisan bakery, antiques and craft markets, a traditional sweet shop, cycle hire, and a perfumery. Stow-on-the-Wold, an Iron Age Fort, exemplifies traditional England. This 12th-century market town hosts a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs, and a monthly farmers' market. Parking right outside is a bonus. The outside sitting area is smalll if you like sittting outside. We were lucky enough to have great weather. Overall delightful.

Property in a lovely peaceful location, walking distance to all that Bourton-on-the-Water has to offer. Only problem we had was poor reception for TV, but wasn't a major issue for us as we were out most of the time. Hot tap of sink in bathroom needs attention. Front garden is secure, but not the little patio area. Despite the few issues mentioned above we would definitely consider staying again. We had an enjoyable stay.

So much attention to detail within the cottage with everything we needed. Perfectly clean and tidy, and the owner even supplied us with some milk and biscuits which we thought was a lovely touch. We will definitely be booking again
