Situated in Stixwould near the village of Woodhall Spa, in a rural area of outstanding natural beauty, this cottage takes a central position, ideal for accessing many attractions and day trips. Perfect for friends or a small family, this retreat is a lovely base to spend some quality time with your loved ones, offering a spacious interior for a homely holiday experience. The kitchen carries a classic design, elevated by colourful tiles, and a dining table which lies to the opposite side of the room, including seating for four people. After a heart-warming meal, cosy up in the lounge, complimented by grey sofas, and an electric flame effect woodburner, tucked away into a lovely stone fireplace. Stairs lead up to two double bedrooms, mirroring each other in style with pretty décor, bedside tables, and wardrobes to complete the formation. Wonderful tones of duck egg blue are laced into the bedding and curtains, to create an all-round soothing aura. Lastly, the bathroom boasts a sense of charm, comprising of a bath with shower over for a refreshing finish. From the property, you will find a lovely courtyard with an outbuilding, doubling up as a utility area with plenty of space for your extra belongings. The welcome basket was delightful. Will was on hand if we needed anything. Lovely dog walks straight from the door. The only slight thing was I found the beds very hard, but I have a bad back and I'm planning another visit so it can't be too much of a negative. I would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone.

Beautiful cottage and the hamper was a lovely surprise on entering. The place had everything we needed and was comfortable. Love the quietness of the area.

Excellent parking spaces and lovely gardens with stunning views to the rear of the property. Lots of birds giving glorious birdsong morning and evening, and huge sky views for starry nights. I was greeted by a generous welcome hamper, which included lovely fresh flowers and fresh fruit. The cottage itself has all the amenities needed, some maintenance is needed but when I raised any issues with the hosts they were very quick to respond and were very lovely about it. In fact the hosts are a lovely couple, friendly and welcoming. The house is cleaned thoroughly but has had dog visitors which has left the inevitable persistent dog aroma which may be a struggle for guests with pet allergies.
