Set over three floors and sleeping up to two guests, 4 Canalside Cottage is a charming and homely setting for your next Northamptonshire adventure, within easy reach of The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Gulliver's Kingdom Theme Park. With off-road parking, leading you to the house's ground floor where there is a kitchen/diner, ready to rustle up an evening meal with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dining table with four chairs. On the first floor there is a sitting room with a two-seater sofa, so you can look forward to cosying up, then two armchairs and a TV, there is also a shower room with basin and WC. Once the sun has set you can go up to the second floor where there is a double bed situated in a bright room, with ample storage space to unpack your belongings and make you feel right at home. Outside the front of the property is a small patio that looks out onto the canal. This property can be booked with Ref: 1064257 together sleeping up to six guests.
Roade is a small village with two convenience stores, a post office, an ice cream shop, a pub, a café, a Chinese takeaway, a bakery and a children's playground. Roade is within a short drive to Towcester, where you can visit Towcester Museum, Bury Mount historical landmark, a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. Less than 15 miles to the famous Gulliver's Land Theme Park, and slightly further takes you into the city centre of Northampton or Milton Keynes where there are high street shops, bars and restaurants.

It feld like HOME! A holiday property what has everything you needed en more. We lâll be back for sure. The owner was a very nice man who responded allways very Quickley . There was a few issues for us, the steepness and narrowness of both staircases need pointing out in the listing, we managed with it but some might not. I must have banged my head 20 times on the low glass ceiling light. Other issues were maintenance issues, shower was really slow to drain away, thought it might overflow, taps are loose in bathroom and sofa arm is broken and moved quite a bit when we leaned on it, in fact only one of us dare sit on sofa at a time. Fix these issues and it will be brilliant.

It is well equipped for self catering . It could do with a new teapot though. My only criticism is that the owner could move his advert from the window to the door. It did feel a bit like a goldfish bowl as so many people came up to the window to study the advert. I do appreciate the need to advertise. The stairs are definitely not for the elderly or handicapped.
