A wonderful feature of this shepherd’s hut is its picture window, from which you can enjoy views of rolling grassland, hillsides and even a glimpse of Derwent Water in the distance.  Situated adjacent to the owners’ home on their working beef and sheep farm, you are surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Northern Lake District Fells, with Catbells and Latrigg to the front, and the imposing view of Skiddaw Mountain to the rear.  Outside is a private outdoor seating area where you can soak up the morning sun, as well as private parking and access to some great local walks, wildlife and cycle routes. 

There are a number of eateries just a short drive away, and a local pub 1¾ miles away - a 5-minute taxi ride, or a 30-minute walk taking in the sights of the surrounding fells as well as some of the amazing wildlife including buzzards, . . .
