Guests consistently report that the cottage is clean and well-maintained, with only a few minor cleaning points mentioned. The high standard of cleanliness contributes to the comfort and appeal of the stay.

The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as ideal, situated in the heart of Hawkshead with easy access to local amenities and walking routes. Some guests mention noise from nearby pub-goers and early deliveries, but these are generally not seen as major detractions.

Many reviews describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed. A few guests found the living space a bit small and noted a lack of privacy due to the cottage's central location.

So pleased we chose this one, perfect for us. The enormous bed was the decider, we have a horror of standard doubles. Everything was lovely and clean when we arrived and the welcome pack was just that, most welcome. The car being parked away from the cottage was much less of a problem than we thought it would be. Will definitely consider staying here again, thank you so much for a lovely break.

It's perfect, such a lovely property...we have had such a lovely time there again and there is so much to do in and around Hawkshead.

I walked to Hilltop farm where Beatrix Potter lived, went to Tarn Hows on a sunny day, and enjoyed being in lovely Hawkshead. I could not get the TV to work, although I managed that last time but watched things on my iPad so that was fine!
