Snaptrip says

Rothay 17 is a well-regarded apartment in Ambleside, praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and prime location. Guests appreciate the modern bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and the added convenience of on-site parking. The property's proximity to local amenities and walking routes is a highlight, though some guests noted issues with comfort and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The apartment consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. The kitchens and bathrooms are particularly noted for their cleanliness.

The location is highly valued for its superb views and easy access to the centre of Ambleside, as well as for good walking routes directly from the property. The steep walk to town is mentioned, but does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

Comfort receives a slightly lower score due to mixed feedback. While the king-sized bed and overall accommodation are found comfortable, several guests mention that the lounge seating and mattresses could be improved for better comfort.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the apartment being well-equipped for self-catering. However, there are comments about impractical shower heads and suggestions for minor improvements, such as a new kettle and a smaller kitchen table to allow more space.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the available information.

Otherwise thankyou we had a great time.

..love the position and views ...it would feel more homely with a few well placed lamps ...but that's just my opinion .. It's a lovely place ..convenient for walking the fells etc ... Unfortunately we find walking and climbing the beloved fells ...becoming out of our reach now .Would love to be 18 once more....

In a great location in Ambleside with beautiful views over the town. We come to Ambleside around four times a year. Rothay 17 was a last minute booking and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend it to others.
