Snaptrip says

Sea Lily cottage in Northumberland is praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, the presence of a garden, and the proximity to local attractions. While some minor criticisms exist, such as water taste and pet restrictions, the overall sentiment is positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. This suggests that guests are consistently satisfied with the level of cleanliness during their stay.

The location is frequently described as perfect, peaceful, and convenient for exploring Northumberland and Scottish borders. Its proximity to attractions and beaches is a highlight, although the mention of metallic-tasting water suggests a minor issue with the local water supply.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning cosy beds and a warm atmosphere. However, there are comments about the double bed being too short for taller individuals and the water pressure being low, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with positive mentions of a good shower, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Criticisms include a non-smart TV, difficulty with windows, and a lack of a proper fridge/freezer, indicating room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

While some guests mention the lack of a welcome pack and the presence of dog restrictions, there is insufficient information to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the host regarding gifts or extra touches that enhance the guest experience. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Excellent location moments from the A1,but very peaceful, the birdlife in the lovely garden was incredible so many species. Excellent range of TV options, and instant Wi-Fi were great !! Hope to return very soon,to wonderful Northumberland, and Sea Lily. Thank you Gillian Rob,David and Cherryll.

Very cosy, clean and tidy and well-equipped. Even the knives were sharp which is unusual in a holiday cottage! I always take a sharp knife and a decent frying pay with me but the equipment at Sea Lily was excellent. The location is good too - it was easy to visit lots of attractions without too much time spent driving around. We live in Northumberland anyway so we did not have far to travel to the cottage and it provided a perfect base for a nice relaxing week away from home. We would definitely like to return some time.

The log burner, Netflix & Alexa were all much appreciated, as well as it being dog friendly. And we thought the price was reasonable - so many places are unaffordable nowadays. We’ve had a really lovely few days with our daughter - thank you.
