Most guests found the lodge to be clean and well-presented. However, a few mentioned issues such as dust and cobwebs, and one instance of a dirty toilet brush. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, with the majority of reviews reflecting a high standard of cleanliness.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to beautiful beaches, and ease of access to local amenities and attractions. It is described as an ideal base for touring Northumberland, with a stream nearby adding to the peaceful ambiance.

Facilities, especially the hot tub, are a highlight for many guests. The lodge is well-equipped, though there were some remarks about maintenance issues such as a broken shower head and hot tub jets. The site's bar and playground are additional positives.

The thoughtful touches like a welcome pack with wine and chocolates have been mentioned positively in several reviews, contributing to the overall excellent experience. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

The cabin was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. It was lovely to see the stream ( along with wildlife) off the balcony.’it was a very tranquil setting. The bottle of fizz and shortbread were lovely touches too. Wi-Fi and TV were easy to use. The hot tube was clean and easy to use and we enjoyed relaxing in it. Location wise it was just off the A1 and eat to get to Morpeth and Bamburgh and Seahouses. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Very clean, a really lovely size and Heather was very helpful with communication beforehand. The lodge itself is situated in a great location next to the river and close to the playground so perfect for our family stay. The kids absolutely loved the hot tub and it was checked and cleaned every day. The lodge provided towels, hairdryer, games in the cupboard which came in very handy on a rainy day and lots of cleaning products. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch and appreciated. The holiday park is quiet and in a really handy location for exploring. All in all, we loved it and would definitely return in the future. Thanks Heather.
