Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests have consistently noted the cottage to be warm, cosy, and spotlessly clean, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment. There is, however, a single mention of areas where cleaning could have been more thorough, which slightly impacts the otherwise excellent feedback.

The cottage's location is frequently praised for its easy access to the Lake District's attractions and its peaceful village setting. While the majority of guests found the location ideal, a few noted the lack of walks directly from the door and the garden's position, which slightly affects the score.

Reviewers overwhelmingly describe their stays as comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy fire, comfortable beds, and the overall homely feel of the cottage. The comfort provided by the property seems to be a highlight for many guests.

The cottage is applauded for its well-equipped kitchen, ample amenities, and the inclusion of Netflix and other entertainment options. The provision of logs for the wood burner and the availability of a garage for storage are also appreciated. A single instance of a maintenance issue, which was promptly resolved, indicates good upkeep.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is a standout feature, with numerous mentions of a generous welcome hamper and other considerate extras. While these gifts greatly enhance the experience, it is politely noted that such offerings, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
