The cottage had everything we needed. Having a hot tub was also ideal after a day walking on the fells. It’s ideal for walking in Wasdale as it’s only 25 minutes away. The welcome pack of Prosecco and biscuits was lovely and even more so when we had scones and cake delivered which was a nice surprise. The view from the lounge which was upstairs was a nice addition.

The owners are a stones throw away, without being intrusive, and they are the nicest people you could wish to meet. The village is great, with pub and great food, sky sports a bonus, all the locals very friendly. All in all a definite book again from us. Stephen and Angela

The owners were lovely and it was a lovely surprise when they sent warm scones with jam and cream which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again
