The cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen which has been finished to a very high standard. The living dining/room features a woodburning stove for those relaxing evenings in, as well as a Smart TV and excellent WiFi. When the day comes to an end, you will find two sizable and tastefully furnished bedrooms upstairs, one with a king-size bed and the other with a super-king-size which, if preferred, can be made into two singles. The contemporary shower room can be found close-by, a space offering stylish, monochrome fittings and a spacious walk-in cubicle. The property enjoys its own lawned garden with a patio, complete with a productive apple tree, which you can help yourself to, and a view of Longstone Ridge. Great Longstone is situated in the centre of the Peak District, only a few miles away from the pleasant market town of Bakewell, and close to other attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and the Spa town of Buxton. There is secure bike storage in the garage, however bikes can be hired at nearby Hassop and you can enjoy an easy family-friendly cycle along the flat cycleway of the Monsal Trail. Keen walkers have a good choice of local trails straight from the cottage door or you can soak up the peaceful relaxed feel of the village from a quaint spot in the garden. The picturesque Derbyshire village of Great Longstone is nestled in the centre of the Peak District National Park. Great Longstone is in an outstanding location, surrounded by Longstone Edge and near to Bakewell and Chatsworth House. The settlement has two typical village pubs, a store, 18th century stone dwellings, and a market cross on the lovely town green. The Monsal Trail runs through the village and offers eight and a half miles of picturesque traffic-free walking and cycling.
