A beautiful, modern kitchen/diner provides everything for a hearty breakfast or king’s banquet, after which you’ll appreciate the big luxurious leather sofas in the beautiful sitting room. The apartment offers wheelchair accessibility with walk in wet room showers and the lift to all floors is also wheelchair friendly. It was the constant 28 degrees centigrade of the bubbling blue waters of Buxton's eight thermal springs that originally attracted the Romans to the town. However it was during the 18th and 19th centuries, under the patronage of successive Dukes of Devonshire, that the Palladian splendour of the Buxton of today was designed and built - including the magnificent semi-circular Crescent, The Great Stable, Hall Bank, The Square, The Pavilion Gardens and The Opera House.

Plenty of space, very well equipped to a high standard - no MFI furniture here! Plenty to do in Buxton, good restaurant recommendations in the info folder.. Car parking is a bonus too.

The only thing this year there was no placemats, ( if there was we could not find them) so when eating on the glass top table had to be so careful, this wasn’t a problem to us but would of thought the owners would want to protect the table.

It was comfortable, spacious, spotlessly clean and provided almost everything one might need, including some 'sweet treats'. We had only 2 quibbles; there seemed to be no instructions for the Induction hob on the cooker - we found them 'online' and there was no encouragement or facilities for recycling. We found some, outside. Otherwise, excellent. Thank you. Sally Carr
