While some reviews mention the need for updates and a deeper clean, the overall experience is seen as enjoyable, with the lodge providing a good base for exploring the local area.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests have provided mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some found the lodge clean with thoughtful touches, others reported issues with cobwebs, dust, and in some cases, unclean kitchen appliances and utensils. The inconsistency in cleanliness standards has impacted the overall impression.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, privacy, and proximity to nature, with easy access to the beach and local village. Guests enjoyed the peaceful setting away from the main site areas, with woodland walks and beautiful views, contributing to a positive experience.

Comfort levels are varied among guests. Positive remarks were made about the lodge's spaciousness and the provision of linen and towels. However, several guests noted that the sofas and beds were uncomfortable and in need of replacement, affecting the overall comfort of their stay.

Facilities and maintenance received mixed reviews. Guests appreciated the well-equipped lodge and the availability of WiFi. However, there were several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working lights, damaged furniture, and outdated decor. The park's facilities were enjoyed but not always included in the stay.

While some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like the provision of cleaning supplies, tea, coffee, and milk, there is insufficient information to determine if these are consistent offerings or occasional gifts. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately provided, and guests should not expect these items as guaranteed.

And family. The beds are the worst thing about the lodge, they all need new mattresses and bedlinen. The patio.doors need looking at as they are not secure and there are no instructions about the complex or who to contact in an emergency. The lodge has everything you need for a family stay it is large and clean but definitely needs upgrading

  • Denise

The lodge is spacious with a lovely wrap around veranda with a gate so our dogs were safe. The only down side was the tired bedding and towels. These really need updating asap.

  • Beverley

The park is lovely as is the surrounding area.
