Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness received mixed feedback. While some guests found the property to be spotless, particularly the bedding and towels, others mentioned areas that needed more attention, such as the kitchen and under sofa cushions. The presence of a mid-holiday clean was appreciated, although some guests felt it could have been more thorough.

The location is highly praised for its marvellous views and proximity to local attractions. Guests have enjoyed the rural setting and the convenience of nearby walks and pubs. However, some noted the proximity to a busy road and associated noise, which impacted the tranquillity for a few.

Guests have found the cottage to be comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy beds and well-furnished living spaces. However, there were comments about heavy quilts and light-penetrating blinds that affected some guests' comfort.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, some guests reported issues with appliances and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as the need for maintenance in areas like the bathroom and stair carpet.

The thoughtfulness of providing essentials like milk and bread on arrival was appreciated by guests, contributing to a welcoming experience. However, it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

Fantastic place to stay, great location & views were gorgeous, despite the rain & wind! The wood burner & open fire were a great asset. Beds are particularly comfortable, we had a very good night’s sleep. Thank you, would definitely book this house again.

Everything you need is there and more. The location is also amazing! A walk to the local pub and a nice drive just about everywhere. The Chinese in Ventnor even delivers. Their food was fresh and delicious. We fancy ourselves as food connoisseurs so you have to try it. The weather unfortunately wasn’t during great during our stay so that put a little bit of a damper on our visit. However we saw quite a bit and walked to the Needles in the driving rain. Very beautiful indeed. The one time we needed help John was absolutely spot on. Might want to improve the Wi-Fi a little. It was a tad intermittent. Overall it was a GREAT stay and we would like to visit when the weather is a little better. Thank you so much!
