This detached cottage has been thoughtfully designed to provide quality accommodation in a beautiful part of Cornwall. You have ever-changing countryside views to be enjoyed the year-round from the open-plan living room and an electric wood burner-effect fire to keep you toasty and warm during the winter months. Choose to bring your loved one to The Lily Pad cottage and enjoy a refreshing stay together, cooking up a tasty meal in the well-equipped kitchen, before unwinding on the sofa in front of the TV. You have a lovely double bedroom with an en-suite shower room waking you up each morning. Relax with a glass of wine on the sunny, enclosed patio accessed from the French doors in the living room, and make the most of the privacy as you catch up on events from the day. There is also a handy, lockable bike/surfboard store for you to use, with the owners living next door they also offer the use of a washing machine and tumble drier upon request. You have many attractions worth a visit Carn Brea monument is worth a climb, while the castle at Carn Brea offers a restaurant in the evenings with stunning views. Stroll the golden shores at Portreath and watch the surfers take on the waves or bask in the sunshine, you also have the World Heritage Site Heartlands and a plethora of walking and cycling trails to explore, such as The Great Flat Lode. Get on the trail of Cornwall's mining history and explore the Mineral Tramway Trails, with over 37 miles of mostly level and traffic-free pathways. You have spectacular views and rugged scenery right on your doorstep, a real escape to a beautiful part of the country.

Camborne is home to Heartlands, which covers 19 acres and is scattered with remnants of the mining industry, providing a free space for visitors to explore the heritage of Cornwall. From Camborne centre, you can follow a town trail or spend the afternoon in the museum before visiting the array of shops and pubs.
