About this property

Perched above the water in Falmouth is this divine and characterful renovated former boat house. Uniquely positioned and exquisitely finished, this apartment boasts a sea-skimming balcony with glorious views across to the Roseland peninsula. The property is arranged on one level with the entrance from the quayside into a spacious, light open plan sitting room and kitchen. Spectacular views can not be missed from this space, with windows and french doors allowing light to flood in. The en-suite master bedroom and twin bedroom also boast harbour views. Even better views can of course be enjoyed from your private balcony as you watch little boats bob by. Within easy walking distance (steep hill) is Falmouth town centre and the many shops, galleries and eateries on offer; as well as Falmouth's beautiful sandy beaches. From Falmouth, jump on a ferry and enjoy the scenic surrounds of Cornwall's stunning Roseland peninsula. Toby's Quay is a superb holiday property with unbeatable views and location - a favourite amongst families and couples.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

Kylie is very helpful, re t.v. Although she managed to connect to internet, it was not possible to put in my Netflix, Disney etc, which I pay for. The person prior to me,had written the dinning seat covers needed new. As I have several chronic illnesses and injury ongoing, it is ideal for me to sit on balcony and watch the sea and boats. Sadly as previously the outside furniture is very poor, and still broken with a poor bit of metal, still wobbly arms, and badly stained wood table. I realise you have an ongoing roof problem, needs some expert sealing and under guttering to stop drips. It would be great to see new outside furniture, that you can wipe down to dry. I don't mind sitting in rain a bit,as at home I spend much time bed bound. My son lives on his boat in Mylor harbour, and after work we spend great time together. I booked for next year some while ago for 4 weeks again end season. Love the place, just the bits mended be good. Thanks Sylvia Batho

Great position on Falmouth High St and easy to access both of Cornwall's coasts. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. The only small niggle is the sofas are uncomfortable. Really enjoyed our stay at Toby's Quay and didn't want to go home.
