Fuchsia Cottage in Boscastle offers stunning views and a quaint, cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate its well-equipped nature and the garden's sea vistas. The proximity to local attractions and the charm of the town are noted, although parking challenges and accessibility for those with limited mobility are mentioned. The cottage's comfort and cleanliness generally receive positive remarks, with some concerns about maintenance.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about cobwebs and a damp smell. The overall impression is that the property is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions. However, the steep and narrow access roads, along with parking difficulties, have affected the score. The location is not ideal for those with mobility issues.
Guests generally find the cottage cosy and warm, especially with the log burner. However, there are several mentions of uncomfortable beds and sofas, which suggests that some furnishings may need updating for improved comfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. Nonetheless, there are recurring issues with parking, the shower, and some maintenance concerns like the log burner not working, which impacts the score.
While some guests mentioned a welcome pack, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are subject to change and not guaranteed.

It enabled us to have a lovely time. It could do with some coat hooks downstairs and we were very unhappy about not being able to recycle or compost anything. We produced a vast amount of rubbish during the week while we usually produce less than a third of an ordinary carrier bag. Also a light weight duvet for the summer months or at least a choice.

The curtains seemed they might break in any moment, so we were afraid moving around as a there was a £100 bond. The freezer was full with a bag of ice and frozen veggies, the humid smell was quite strong and a wall by the entrance was dampish, but apart from that we had a wonderful time. The parking situation wasn't ideal, first night was a challenge to find where to park, the following nights was better.

Great location, parking was occasionally interesting but didnât bother us. Enjoyed a fab week at Fuchsia Cottage!
