Snaptrip says

Guests generally appreciate the holiday rental's cleanliness, prime location near the beach, and the provision of amenities. While some guests found the bed uncomfortable and the sofa hard, the property's cleanliness and thoughtful touches like flowers and biscuits were well-received. The peacefulness and convenience for coastal walks were also highlights, despite occasional issues with maintenance and noise.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with several guests noting it was spotless upon arrival. There were no significant complaints about cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, coastal walks, and local attractions like the Minack Theatre. The peacefulness and natural beauty of the area contribute to its high rating.

Comfort received mixed reviews. While some guests found the bed comfortable, others reported it as hard or uncomfortable. The sofa was also noted as hard by a guest. These mixed experiences have resulted in a moderate score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the inclusion of a washer/dryer. However, there were issues with the TV setup, a lack of a DVD player, and a blocked shower, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

Guests appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee, and flowers. While these gestures were well-received, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

About this property

Within a few minutes walk of the sandy beach at Porthcurno, this cute ground floor apartment is nestled in a valley setting. The apartment is within a detached building of three properties with a shared garden which forms part of a former hotel and has all the ingredients to make a superb holiday bolt-hole for couples. Light and bright with double aspect windows, pale porcelain tiled floor and an all white décor, the contemporary styled accommodation incorporates a living room with a dining area and smart kitchen. The bedroom has a comfortable, relaxing ambiance with a tastefully appointed en-suite shower room - perfect for washing sandy toes after a sunshine filled day by the sea. There is pretty garden which is shared with the other apartments. Potter down to the beach and spend the day lazing by the sea or discover the cliff paths and stunning coastal views in either direction from the cove. Porthcurno is home to the incredible Minack Theatre, carved from the granite cliff-face with dramatic backdrop of sea and sky - a magical site to visit or watch an evening performance. Porthcurno also has a little café and ice cream shop but for eating out we recommend heading to Sennen Cove, Mousehole or Newlyn. Land's End is just over three miles away with its majestic ruggedly natural landscape to be enjoyed in all weathers and cliff paths encompassing the Atlantic Ocean. This property can be booked alongside property references 985427 and 963609 to sleep in total a maximum of 8 people.

The small village of Porthcurno is situated four miles from Land’s End on the south coast of West Cornwall. The village has a sandy beach, a café, a restaurant that’s open during the summer season and cliff-top and coastal walks. To the west of Porthcurno is the famous Minack Theatre, which is a superb open air venue with 750 seats and boasts views across Porthcurno Bay to The Lizard.
