Snaptrip says

Guests have found Old Ford Farm Annexe to be a peaceful and comfortable retreat, with a welcoming host and abundant wildlife. The property's location offers easy access to local attractions and the tranquillity of the countryside. While most reviews are positive, noting the property's charm and amenities, a few guests have mentioned areas for improvement.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests have described the annexe as clean and well-maintained, with only a single review mentioning dampness and an unclean bathroom. This suggests that cleanliness is generally of a high standard, with an isolated incident of dissatisfaction.

The location is frequently praised for its tranquillity, beautiful surroundings, and proximity to local attractions and towns. One review mentioned traffic noise, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.

Comfort is highlighted in many reviews, with guests appreciating the comfortable beds, spacious living areas, and the warmth provided by storage radiators. A few guests noted the compact bathroom and kitchen layout, but overall, the annexe is seen as a comfortable holiday home.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities like grab rails. However, some guests noted missing oven gloves and non-functional patio doors, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

While the reviews reflect a very pleasant and helpful host, there is no specific mention of gifts provided by the host. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and this score is set to null. Guests should note that such gestures, if they occur, are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Mike, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We did find the traffic noise from the A35 bothersome when outside. Otherwise, the setting was peaceful as described, and the surroundings were beautiful.

We kept running out of teaspoons for instance. But overall the annexe was perfect for our visit to family in Axminster. Very comfy bed, good quality bedding, good kitchen appliances, comfortable lounge, really beautiful grounds, at end of a long drive. Peaceful yet convenient for the A35 for getting out and about.

Layout of kitchen not particularly convenient, and ensuite bathroom rather small but both more than compensated for by the rest of the property. Friendly, helpful owner who lives in adjoining property. Great place to sit outside with a glass / cup of wine / tea /coffee (delete as wished!) and enjoy the peaceful view. Lots to see in the area (we could happily have stayed a month) - we had a womnderful week and would recommend the Annexe
