Snaptrip says

Anne's Pantry in Uplyme is a charming and well-equipped cottage praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches such as a generous welcome pack. While the location is convenient for exploring Lyme Regis, guests should be mindful of the steep steps and parking challenges. The property is ideal for those who appreciate characterful accommodation and a scenic river walk nearby.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently noted the property to be clean, with specific mentions of a spotless bathroom and a well-kept kitchen, contributing to a high cleanliness rating.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to Lyme Regis and scenic walks, although the busy road and parking difficulties slightly detract from the overall convenience.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable overall, but concerns about the steep steps to the bedrooms and the size of the main bedroom suggest that comfort could be improved for some guests.

While the kitchen is noted to be well-equipped, there are mixed reviews about the facilities, with some guests facing issues with lighting, hob functionality, and wardrobe space. Due to the lack of consistent feedback across all reviews, a definitive score cannot be provided.

The welcome pack was highly appreciated by guests, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

The cottage was warm, clean and decorated with Christmas tree, lights and festive decorations. Will definitely visit next time we stay in Uplyme. Keep up the good work.

The main bedroom barely fits a double bed & you can hardly get to other side of bed. It is very pricey for what it is - compared with other properties we have stayed in. Bed was rock hard & we didn’t sleep well. The outside space is tiny which we could tell from photo however was not inviting at all & our poor old dog couldn’t even climb the huge dangerous steps to it. Parking was a nightmare. The facilities in the second bedroom consisted of a futon which looked small & getting to the top bed would only be possible for young child although steps pretty dangerous. Wardrobe could not hang dresses in as blocked off & contained a huge bag - rail in second bedroom was not attached to wall. The small burner on hob did not work. Lighting was terrible especially trying to cook. Needs better bulbs for sure & couldn’t get all the lounge lights to work. Bathroom was lovely, bright & spotless & kitchen clean & had everything we needed although no cupboard space for storing anything making it cluttered. Road was in extremely busy & very noisy. In summary very cute clean cottage but very tiny.

Great area. The only thing we would like to ask if it can be fixed it was the patio steps. Very steep and not safe for someone with a bit unbalance.or low mobility.
