You can follow the trains as they come and go and glimpse the engine as it puffs up the valley. Situated at the top of the High Street in Swanage’s conservation area, the town, sandy beach, station and local shops are all within a few minutes’ walk.

first visit. first impression was the staircase, not for the frail. however the view is excellenth being so high . one of the best parts was, during the evening you got a close up view of swallows darting around. they came to within a couple of feet from the window. an excellent reason to return which we will try to do.

The property was as described on the website. Very convenient location. Well equipped for our needs, good shower and very comfortable bed. The only down side was that we had to drive around the one way system before we were lucky to find a parking spot directly opposite the property. Once in we did not need to use our car at all because the bus service was so good.
