Somerhill in Lyme Regis is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and comfortable furnishings. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, the warm swimming pool, and the property's homely feel. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns were noted, these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences. The property's location and the thoughtful welcome pack of Dorset goodies have been appreciated by many visitors.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there were a few mentions of dust, the need for a thorough clean, and some dirty cutlery and pans upon arrival. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its breathtaking views over the bay and its proximity to Lyme Regis. The ease of access to local amenities and the peaceful setting contribute to its high rating.

Guests consistently mention the comfortable beds and the homely atmosphere of the property. The spaciousness and the various areas for relaxation and activities add to the comfort level experienced by visitors.

The facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a warm swimming pool, are generally appreciated. However, there have been several reports of maintenance issues such as problems with the oven, electrics, and plumbing, which slightly lower the score.

The welcome pack of Dorset goodies was a delightful touch mentioned by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed, they should be considered a bonus rather than an expectation.

There were 9 adults and 1 toddler and we didn’t fall over each other at all. The pool was brilliant ( but could do with some TLC) and that made our holiday

The property was Immaculate, spacious, extremely comfortable and the pool was amazing! Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning

Pool was really warm - we used it every day - (end of March/April) even in the rain! Initial issue with cleanliness was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Easy walk downhill to Lyme Regis. Steep uphill walk back but there are taxis and buses available if necessary!
