Snaptrip says

Morgan Lodge is frequently praised for its tranquil and picturesque setting, with many guests enjoying the peaceful environment and the fishing opportunities. The lodge is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering a relaxing stay. While some guests mention issues with geese and their droppings, overall, the lodge receives positive feedback for its high-quality accommodation and beautiful location.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge is generally commended for its cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. However, a few guests deducted points due to the presence of goose droppings on the pathway, which affected their perception of cleanliness.

The location is consistently praised for its tranquillity and beauty, with a fishing lake that adds to the charm. It is also noted for being convenient for local attractions and amenities, contributing to a high score.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and the spaciousness of the accommodation. There is a single mention of a loud vibrating noise due to wind, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge being equipped to a good standard. However, there are comments about the fishing not being brilliant and a lack of certain amenities like a BBQ and hot tub. Additionally, some guests experienced issues with the keysafe and lack of communication from the owners.

While the reviews mention a welcome pack and a Christmas tree with lights, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that while some guests appreciated these touches, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
