Snaptrip says

The Gardens cottage in Somerset receives high praise for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, comfortable beds, and the warm welcome from the hosts, Richard and Wendy. The beautiful garden and the opportunity to interact with the property's animals add to the charm. While some minor suggestions for improvement are noted, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention the property as clean and well-maintained, with only one isolated comment about mould in the shower. The high standard of cleanliness is frequently commended.

The property is praised for its peaceful rural setting and proximity to local attractions in Somerset and Devon. However, one review mentions difficult access due to narrow lanes, slightly impacting the score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm, with a log burner adding to the cosiness. Some guests mention the house being on the colder side, but the provision of electric heaters and blankets mitigates this.

The property is described as well-equipped and spacious, with a particular appreciation for the kitchen and utility room. Suggestions for additional bathroom shelves and mirrors near power points indicate room for improvement.

While guests mention thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, biscuits, and flowers, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across all reviews, it is not guaranteed that such gifts are a standard offering for all stays.

To say they were delighted with everything is an understatement. Coming from a city into the countryside was a revelation they were able to be up close and personal to lambs and chickens. I am sure it will be a talking point for a very long time. The owners were fantastic when the family managed to get lost. A beautiful cottage with everything and more for a lovely break.

Great communication from owner, advising us about a couple of things, also happy to help with lighting wood burner. Children loved seeing the sheep and feeding the chickens. Has everything you could possibly need for a really comfortable stay.

  • George

No problem with these at the gardens - 100% for all three.
