Snaptrip says

Small Piece is a charming and cosy cottage praised for its cleanliness, idyllic location, and traditional character. Guests appreciate its proximity to local amenities and the peacefulness of the area. While some minor issues with comfort and facilities are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-presented. However, a few noted instances of dirty dishes and areas needing improvement, slightly affecting the overall cleanliness perception.

The location is highly praised for its easy access to the village centre, local shops, pubs, and walks. The peaceful setting and proximity to attractions in Porlock and Exmoor make it an ideal spot for guests.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and cosy touches. Some guests mentioned issues with hard seating and soft beds, indicating room for improvement in the comfort of the furnishings.

The cottage is well-equipped, with appreciated additions like Sky TV. However, there are comments about the need for maintenance in the bathroom and kitchen, and some confusion with remote controls. Parking is also a concern for some guests.

There is no consistent mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners. While some guests appreciated the Christmas decorations, there is not enough information to evaluate this category fully.

The only problem we had was the cooker/hot plate it was beyond our ability to understand how to use it, so we decided to eat out for breakfast and lunch which was no problem. We loved our stay and thank the Owners for providing us with such fabulous holiday accommodation and having the park opposite the cottage was a added bonus with the dog.
