My wife and I had a wonderful time here. We were looking for peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got. Great area with a good amount of places to visit. If seclusion is something you are looking for then this is ideal.

The Woodland Retreat Lodge is in a beautiful setting. It's very quiet so a real getaway place to stay. The lodge is very homely with wifi, plenty of hot water and luxurious fluffy towels in the bathroom. Small welcome hamper left with enough provisions for one night was a nice touch. It's not far to Framlingham and Southwold so plenty of places to visit. The Dennington Queen is a really good pub with great food and only 5-10 minute drive.

Peaceful retreat. Fabulous little place to stay, nice & peaceful & not far from where we wanted to visit. The owner left us a little welcome package of bacon, eggs, bread, butter, marmalade, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar & milk which was great.
