This 15th century Grade II* listed retreat is oozing with character and is situated within the historical town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The oldest house in Stratford-upon-Avon, this getaway is perfect for families or couples to visit all year round. Wander through the charming entrance past the pretty plants which form part of the lovely walkway. Inside, a light and airy kitchen is nicely furnished and makes a pleasant place to prepare your favourite meals, before resting at the breakfast bar. The freezer compartment in the fridge was totally frosted over; to the extent that the door wouldnât close and the remains of a Vienetta was frozen in place. It had clearly been like that for some time. After spending a fruitless half hour searching for the parking permit I contacted the owner to be told it was now all online and he would add my registration number. Would have been nice to arrange this beforehand. No information or welcome pack. Having said all that, the property was clean, comfortable, well heated. Ideally situated in the town and all in all charming.

I have stayed there on a number of occasions with my daughter. It is within walking distance to all the nice little tea shops, and restaurants. We try to stay few times through year. Looking forward to my next visit soon. Thank you..

Our first visit to Stratford and we chose to stay for Christmas. The cottage had everything my family of 4 needed with comfortable beds, a lovely hot shower and a cosy open fire. The only slight complaint Iâd have is it was a little cold at first and the heating took almost a day to get to the temperature I wanted. I feel the cold so this could just be a personal thing! But we would definitely return for another stay at Masons Court.
