About this property

Little Magnolia is located on the outskirts of Upton Upon Severn in the Worcestershire countryside. This cedar-built lodge offers a romantic break for a couple, with a garden to dine alfresco whilst enjoying the views of the rolling Malvern Hills. A private lane will lead you to the property, where you will be greeted by off-road parking to leave your vehicle. Head inside to find a hallway, with space to hang your jackets and store your boots, ready for when you explore this rural area. The open-plan living space is showered in natural light from the large windows; here you can unwind with a cup of tea on the sofa and admire the views before you. Prepare home-cooked meals in the kitchen area, home to an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with an ice box and a dishwasher to do the cleaning up for you. When stomachs rumble, settle down at the dining table for two, as you tuck-into delicious meals, chat about the highlights of the day so far. Make use of the coffee station to enjoy a frothy coffee and venture outside onto the swing chair to savour the tranquil setting with a good book. A charcoal barbecue offers alternative cooking arrangements for when the sun is shining; afterwards, snuggle up on the sofa and flicker through the options on the Smart TV. When eyes tire, prepare for bed in the bathroom with a soak in the deep bathtub or rinse the day away in the walk-in shower. A super-king-size bed awaits, so why not get tucked in with a hot chocolate and watch the Smart TV. In the morning, slip on a robe before enjoying a cup of tea outside on the patio while breathing in the fresh air. A short stroll will lead you to The Drum & Monkey, where you can unwind with a chilled pint or for a greater selection of bars and eateries, head into the town of Upton Upon Severn. The pretty town of Upton Upon Severn is situated on the River Severn and is known for its annual music festival. Our jaws dropped when we saw the amazing views from the lodge. Our week was perfect in every way; from the warm welcome, (which included a delightful collection of tasty goodies to enjoy), to the superb accommodation...we even had sunshine every day. The area is beautiful too, with countryside walks from the door, as well as pretty towns, hillside hikes and NT properties within easy reach. Thank you so much!

Caroline and Keith are fabulous hosts who have made this lovely place like a home from home with lots of lovely touches and a fabulous welcome box with fabulous homemade and homegrown treats. Nothing is too much trouble and you're very sure of really warm welcome. So much so that we're heading back just after Christmas!
