In that regard it was a good choice, the internet connection is excellent Parking was doable for a large car and good for a smaller car. Yes it is dark in the cottage, bit common, it is an old cottage so that is expectable What ws a prolem for us, is that you have little control on the central heating, not on when it is on/off or the set temperature. If you have to work from the cottage that is not very pleasant. You have to use the open fireplace or else teh cold wind comes in the house through the chimney. There was enough wood to use, but you have like a fireplace Everybody has preferences on the bed, soft/hard, but for us and two weeks the bed was hard. The hosts were vert friendly. Also the kitchen and pantry were good with enough utensils to use, some other cottages lack that often How to separate the garbage was taken care of, teh hosst took care of the separation, for non-UK residents that is excellent All in all the price/quality ratio is excellent, but will we return: no. But that has to do with us, we are reaching an age that we prefer, a little bigger cottage with all rooms on ground floor level and a little more comfort.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is comfortable and in an excellent location with lots of things to do within easy access. Parking was easy and we had everything that we needed. The farm shop within walking distance had fantastic produce. We will certainly stay here again.
