Snaptrip says

Cunliffe House is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its spaciousness, picturesque setting, and thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper. The property boasts comfortable furnishings, a hot tub, and a games room, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness points were raised, the overall experience was highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property generally received positive remarks on cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and fresh upon arrival. However, a few guests noted cobwebs and outdoor seating cleanliness, slightly affecting the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and picturesque scenery. Its proximity to local walks and a friendly village pub adds to the appeal, although one mention of a nearby dumping ground slightly detracts from the perfection.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the house cosy, with plenty of space and light. Some guests mentioned that certain mattresses were very firm or needed replacing, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The facilities, including a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and games room, were appreciated by guests. However, there were comments about the need for maintenance in areas like the pool table, lighting for outdoor activities, and the need for additional shower mounts.

The property's thoughtful gestures, such as a welcome hamper and bathrobes for the hot tub, were well-received. While these gifts enhanced the experience, it is important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

A nice hamper on arrival, my only criticism would be similar to previous reviews, lack of tumblr type drinking glasses/ tea towels, plus a lovely seating area outside provided but seats not cleaned so unable to really use, however this didn't detract from a great time we had and would stay again

The house is beautiful the pictures on line don't do it justice. The little touches like the welcome basket and bottle of prosecco so thoughtful. Lovely quality of bedding and towels. The family loved the hot tub and games room, just one suggestion to consider perhaps some sort of wooden structure to house the hot tub would make it ideal for use all year round. Having said that the rain didn't deter us from using it! . Will definitely be going back to Cunliffe house.

It was clean, spacious, warm and comfortable and the lovely welcome pack on arrival was very much appreciated. The large hot tub and games room were well used by all family members and were a great fun addition to this property. The conservatory at the back of the house is a lovely quiet space and the outdoor area offers different places to sit and enjoy the lovely views. The quiet, scenic location was so peaceful and a 5 minute walk to the friendly village pub was a definite bonus. Would definitely recommend this house for a getaway and would love to return with the family again.
