Boasting views out to the moors from the quaint cottage windows in the village of Cragg Vale, is this charming stone terrace cottage, Mirk Cottage. Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, this property has been wonderfully brought into the 21st century whilst maintaining its classic cottage feel, and perfectly positioned in West Yorkshire for exploring the countryside. Step inside to be greeted by wonderful mix of contemporary and vintage, with a fully fitted kitchen presenting you with a range of appliances, including a slimline dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven and fridge, along with a stylish breakfast bar style dining area. Move across to the sitting area to relax before the large inglenook fireplace where a woodburning stove can offer warmth on a winter night, wind down and watch a film on the Smart TV as you sink into the plush sofas. Take your morning coffee out onto the patio or dine alfresco for lunches and dinners here too, with an external storage area here to store any bikes. Head upstairs in the evening and choose from either the king-size bedroom or the double bedroom, each enjoying space to store your belongings and attractive decor, with both being served by the sparkling, neat shower room. The nearby village of Cragg Vale is something of a mecca for cyclists with the challenging incline rewarded by breath-taking views at the top and the village of Luddenden is also not far and is the location of Jerusalem Farm, a popular local nature reserve. We had everything we needed, beautifully decorated, spotless and cosy. The smart TV is a bonus after a long day! Itâs close (by car) to some great pubs for eating and thereâs lots to do in the surrounding area. We would love to come back.
