The location is highly praised for its 'gorgeous views and wildlife,' and accessibility to local walks and York. One minor issue was getting lost due to fog, but this seems an isolated incident.

great for bird watchers in the garden and out in the wolds. The hot tub was easy to get the fire going and much needed after long walks. Lots to explore straight from the front door, This is our second study at the Black Cap, we will be back.

Modern comfortable and well situated. A choice of lovely walks can be accessed from the accommodation without jumping in the car. York can easily be accessed by the park and ride. Would like to return someday. Mick & Joy
