With a modern kitchen and bathroom, this Hornsea cottage has the added bonus of underfloor heating on the ground floor, perfect for keeping your feet toasty as you sip an early morning cup of coffee. With two individually-styled bedrooms, this cottage in Hornsea provides a very comfortable and homely place to stay; the sheltered rear garden offers distant views of The Mere and a sunny patio for alfresco dining on summer evenings. The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs rspb reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.

It has all that you need inside. It is situated close to amenities and perfect walking distance to the beach. We had the best holiday and will 100% returning.

Warm and welcoming. Everything needed is provided (even the small things). Loved our stay. Beds were extremely comfortable. Very peaceful with a lovely back garden. Our dog also settled in well. Thank you to the hosts. Also a thoughtful gesture of cake and milk provided.

Cottage is well equipped & warm we did find sofa bit too low for us OAPs ,main bed very comfy but single bed uncomfortable for an adult you can feel every spring in mattress cottage is within walking distance of town and beach
