A charming, whitewashed end terrace cottage, situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds in the sleepy little village of North Dalton. This cosy and characterful property provides excellent accommodation for couples or small families wishing to explore this hidden corner of rural Yorkshire, yet a short drive to both the coast and the magnificent city of York. Thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard, there is a spacious, well equipped modern kitchen/diner, with a belfast sink, underfloor heating and french doors opening onto the rear patio. The characterful sitting room has a beamed ceiling and a cosy woodburning stove set in a feature brick fireplace - perfect for relaxing by in the cooler months. Two pretty bedrooms and a contemporary bathroom, will ensure a very comfortable stay in this traditional country style cottage. Outside, the south facing sheltered patio, is the perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee, before heading out for the day. The surrounding rolling chalk countryside offers ample walking and cycling opportunities, with a network of footpaths and trails, whilst the historic market towns of Market Weighton, Beverley and Driffield are close by. Visit Sledmere House, Beverley Minster and the Yorkshire Air Museum, or take a day trip to York to visit the sights, including The National Railway Museum and the Jorvic Viking Centre. The seaside resorts of Bridlington and Filey are sure to be a big hit with the children, while Bempton RSPB Reserve will facinate all ages. A well placed Yorkshire Wolds cottage for a memorable holiday.

Driffield is a busy market town set in the Yorkshire Wolds, with a lot on offer for its visitors. There are many pubs and cafes to choose from, providing quality food and drink from local suppliers.

Visitors can enjoy shopping for local produce at the weekly market, held in Driffield every Thursday, which is a very popular local event and there is also the yearly Driffield Show held at the Showground every summer.
