We stayed at End cottage at the beginning of November and we adored our stay.

We've been to the village visiting on a couple of other occasions which we love but it was great to stay in the heart of the village just a stones throw from all the cafe's and shops. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations with all rooms cozy and with all the facilities you'd need. Plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, really nice little extra's touches (like the delicious scones :)) - and obviously the hot tub which made a for a really lovely dimension to the holiday, being able to get home from a day in the dales, put the little one to bed, to then get in to the tub with it slightly chilly outside but lovely and warm in. Also, the owners were super helpful with recommendations of where to go and see and communication before arrival and during the stay. Really lovely, and we've already discussed going back next year.

The cottage is beautiful and everything we thought we needed we found.

It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and decorated to a very high standard. Its also surprisingly large and very homely. It is so central for the village shops and pubs etc. The hot tub is a perfect temperature. The only things that could be of issue is that there is no street parking but permits are provided in the National car park about 6 minutes away which solved this problem. You can drop off luggage etc outside but beware if they are filming All Creatures Great and Small which they do in the village you may need to take this into consideration as access may be more difficult when filming is going on. Also the garden has shared access with the neighbours but they were lovely and considerate and we only saw them a couple of times during our weeks stay.

We had a wonderful week staying in End Cottage with our two young children (2.

5 and 8 months). The cottage was absolutely perfect for what we needed and the owners (Jonathan and Kerry) were really welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal right in the heart of Grassington and the property has all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are all super comfortable and the bedding and towels are of really high quality. The garden is lovely and ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or afternoon drink and although we didnât get around to using the hot tub, it looks very inviting! We would absolutely recommend End Cottage for anyone wishing to stay in or around Grassington and experience the best of the Yorkshire Dales. Ideal for families, couples or a few friends, End Cottage really has it all and we will definitely be going back!

Fantastic 3 days at End Cottage.

The cottage is set only a few steps away from Grassington centre with lots of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes on the doorstep. There are plenty of lovely walks too, especially taking in Linton Falls. This is a perfect spot for exploring. The cottage itself is beautiful and very spacious. It is well maintained, very clean and the decor is lovely. There is everything you need in the cottage and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Our only complaint was the hot tub hadnât reached temperature when we arrived so couldnât use it until the following day. Special mention to the neighbour Dee who was absolutely delightful. Lovely lady and so helpful. We would definitely recommend the cottage and hope to return soon.

Nice small cottage, well positioned in the middle of the village.

There are some negative points. The kitchen is tiny with limited work space, the settee in the living room is small and very soft you can't sit on it for long, there are alternative chairs provided. There isn't any outside space. This is clear in the description but what isn't clear is the garden in front of the cottage belongs to the next door neighbour, who hangs her washing over the railings in front of the living room window. There is parking for one car but access is tight and you have to reverse out on to the road, this can prove tricky with on coming cars and pedestrians, there is alternative parking in the village. This cottage is a good base for exploring the Dales both by car and on foot.
