Snaptrip says

Gisburn Forest Lodge is highly praised for its beautiful setting, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches like chocolates and Prosecco. Guests enjoyed the well-equipped lodge, comfortable furnishings, and the hot tub. The surrounding area offers lovely walks and places to visit, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation and exploration. Some minor suggestions for improvement were noted, but overall, the experience was delightful and guests are keen to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge consistently receives compliments for its cleanliness, with guests noting it as lovely and clean, with freshly laundered towels. The exterior and decking could use some attention, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

The location is celebrated for its stunning views, peacefulness, and proximity to lovely walks and local amenities. The road leading to the lodge is mentioned as being a bit rough due to potholes, which is a minor concern for some visitors.

Guests find the lodge very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfy beds and the relaxing hot tub. However, some guests noted a lack of storage space and suggested that additional steps for easier hot tub access would enhance comfort.

The lodge is well-equipped and guests are generally satisfied with the facilities. Some guests suggested improvements in lighting, especially in the kitchen and around the hot tub, and mentioned that the fridge size could be inadequate for larger groups.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with guests appreciating the welcome card, bottle of Prosecco, and chocolates. It should be noted that while these gifts are warmly received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
