This is an excellent walking place because it is near the River Wharfe and has vast Grass Woods to the north of the settlement. Bolton Abbey, home to the Priory, the Abbey Ruins, and the renowned "Strid Walk," is located down dale. A short distance away is the posh town of Ilkley, which is guarded by the well-known Ilkley Moor. Kettlewell and Buckden, located up dale, are renowned for their breathtaking limestone scenery.

Property in good condition,clean and warm. Spacious and comfortable lounge space with large TV and access to several channels. Bed comfy. One of the best cottages we have stayed in over the years.

Felt cool on arrival but soon warmed up and was extremely cosy. (The secret is to pop into the lounge when you first awaken and trigger the sensor on the radiator). Bed is so comfortable. Everything you could want in a lovely village. Our 4th visit to this cottage, and we hope to return.
