Reviewers unanimously commend the property for its spotless and well-maintained state, often using terms like 'immaculate' to describe their experience.

The Folly is celebrated for its peaceful and beautiful location in the Yorkshire Dales, with easy access to local walks and a charming village pub. The only minor suggestion for improvement is a place to dry swimwear, indicating the location's suitability for outdoor activities.

Guests are very satisfied with the comfort provided, particularly mentioning the comfortable bed and the cosy, yet modern, feel of the cottage.

The Upper Wharfedale settlement of Threshfield is a small community bordered by the towns of Grassington, Linton, Hetton, Cracoe, and Rylstone, the birthplace of the illustrious "Calendar Girls." Threshfield is a vibrant neighbourhood. One of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Grassington, is only a short drive away. It is filled with traditional stone cottages, galleries, restaurants, and shops that are gathered around the cobbled market place. Additionally, a monthly farmers' market offers a mouthwatering selection of homemade and organic local produce. Both the Grassington Festival in June and the Dickensian Festival in December offer delight to visitors and are both highly recommended. This is an excellent walking place because it is near the River Wharfe and has vast Grass Woods to the north of the settlement. Bolton Abbey, the Priory, and the fabled "Strid Walk" are located down the valley. A little farther away is the magnificent town of Ilkley, which is overshadowed by the fabled Ilkley Moor. Up the valley are the towns of Kettlewell and Buckden, which are known for their breathtaking limestone scenery. Threshfield makes an excellent home base for exploring the neighbourhood and all that the Dales have to offer, with many more scenic locations scattered across Wharfedale and short driving distance to York and Bront Country.

Booking was simple. Chris and Sally went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The Folly is beautifully presented and we wanted for nothing. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day exploring The Dales. The Fountaine Inn is a must for dinner. Book early to avoid disappointment. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will definitely be back.

The property was finished to a very high standard and very clean! We had everything we needed in the property and the enclosed garden was perfect to let our puppy have a little run around on his own. The hot tub was gorgeous after a long walk and not too hot like others we have been too! We loved walking through the fields and watching the lambs play. The village is small but very picturesque and the local pub was lovely and friendly. The owners of the property were very friendly and always on hand if you needed anything at all. We will be back! Thanks for a lovely stay. Louise, Chris and Pablo
