Foxglove Cottage, converted from a former coach house, provides lovely accommodation in a peaceful setting, just 15 minutes' walk from the town centre, and 10 minutes' walk from the river and the magnificent rolling countryside of Swaledale. The property has an open-plan living area, and the warm and comfortable sitting area has doors leading to the sunny patio, perfect for sitting out and enjoying an evening meal. Discover Richmond's cobbled streets and architecture, featuring an array of superb inns and restaurants and several intriguing museums. Explore the fascinating Norman castle, peruse the colourful stalls at the weekly market, or take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque River Swale. A superb base for exploring Swaledale, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, York Minster and the North York Moors, making this the ideal location for touring the North of England. Richmond sits on a prominent hilltop at the entrance to Swaledale and north of the River Swale. Very clean. There was everything we could need there. Loved the boot tray for muddy boots and a dog towel. Perfect location for travelling, space for parking on site. Gentle walk into Richmond, plenty of nature walks too.

Great little ten minute walk into Richmond town centre. Very comfortable and good value.

all facilities there at hand. Would easy stay again if visiting the area. We went with friends who stayed in an end cottage so for a group its ideal too.
