Keep Cottage in Pickering is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the secure garden for pets, the proximity to local amenities, and the peaceful environment. The cottage's charm, well-equipped facilities, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack contribute to a delightful stay. While one review mentions areas for improvement, the overwhelming majority celebrate a homely and enjoyable experience.
The cottage receives consistent commendations for its spotless rooms and well-maintained appearance. One isolated review suggests attention to detail in cleaning, but this does not reflect the overall high standards experienced by the majority.
The location is frequently highlighted as ideal, offering a quiet setting next to Pickering Castle, with easy access to town, scenic walks, and nearby attractions. Its convenience and tranquility are celebrated by guests.
Numerous guests find the cottage comfortable, noting the cosy atmosphere, comfy beds, and the conservatory as a relaxing space. The garden adds to the comfort, providing a lovely area for relaxation.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of two bathrooms. However, one review suggests some kitchen items could be cleaner, and another mentions the need for plumper cushions, slightly impacting the score.
Guests mention a welcome pack and the owners' proactive communication, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and one review perceived the welcome pack as minimal, the score reflects that while positive, experiences may vary.
