Snaptrip says

Little Pines is a well-presented cottage in Scarborough, praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden ideal for dogs. The property offers a comfortable stay with a fantastic shower and cosy lounge. It's situated in a quiet village, perfect for exploring the local area. Some guests noted the convenience of the location and the friendliness of the locals.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently noted the cottage was spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting its immaculate condition. The attention to cleanliness seems to be a significant positive aspect of the property.

The cottage is appreciated for its great location, with guests finding it central for exploring York, the coast, and the moors. The quiet village setting was also mentioned positively, although one review noted some traffic and footfall as a minor distraction.

The property is described as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with a particularly fantastic shower. However, some guests mentioned the inconvenience of a downstairs bathroom and a smaller-than-expected double bed, which slightly affected the comfort level.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. However, there were comments about the TV being difficult to use, and the shared washing machine being located outside. The maintenance of the kitchen table and the need for additional mugs and spoons were also noted.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

We initially thought the downstairs bathroom would be a little inconvenient but the layout worked out really well. Our dog loved the garden which was really secure and had lots of spaces for him to investigate. The only negative is the double bed felt really small compared to our double at home. Will definitely book again

Cottage was lovely and the owners more than happy to help with anything, the garden was great for our dog, nice and secure the only small downside was the bathroom being downstairs, but we managed and the bathroom was lovely, great shower!! Could do with a couple of extra mugs and spoons in the kitchen. Would love to return in the future
