To the south lies Whitby, with its beautifully situated abbey and historic port. Superb coastline, the spectacular North York Moors, a picturesque harbour and safe sandy beaches are all on hand and worthy of exploring. Just inland of the old port of Robin Hoods Bay lies Fylingdales, and just to the south is Whitby, with its beautifully situated abbey and historic port.
