The Fox's Den rests amidst the serenity of the outskirts of Whitby, a stone's throw from the town itself as well as the wondrous North York Moors National Park. The smart interior and excellent location for discovering the attractions of the area is ideal to bring your friends and family together to escape from everyday life. Set in a mid-terrace position on Captain Cook's Retreat, looking over the striking footbridge which leads towards Whitby; feel refreshed from the moment that you enter the bright and airy interior. After experiencing some of the many superb opportunities available nearby, look forward to returning to the modern sitting room, featuring a TV, a soothing neutral layout with doors leading out to a charming little patio. Adjacent to this is the rejuvenating kitchen/diner, complete in a fresh, stylish manner and lined with attractive units hosting a useful range of appliances. Take the stairs to find the three immaculate bedrooms on the first floor, the two twin rooms are ideal for children and friends, while the master double bedroom boasts access onto a peaceful balcony to be enjoyed with a relaxing glass of wine at the end of the day. The interior concludes excellently with a pristine family bathroom, offering a shower over the bath. A social decking area lies to the rear of The Fox's Den, a wonderful space for some alfresco dining under the summer sun. We love it; the cottage is exactly as listed, and it's a great location for days out. There's lots for all ages in the local area. Among other things we enjoyed shops and entertainment in Whitby itself and activities at Dalby Forrest. The owners were really helpful; there was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived, including something for the dog, and they were very accommodating about an error I had made with the booking.
