Harebell is a well-regarded cottage in Whitby, praised for its comfortable furnishings, spaciousness, and prime location suitable for beach walks and enjoying the local scenery. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, modern amenities, and the overall inviting atmosphere, though some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvement have been noted.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the property clean and comfortable. However, one review mentioned the need to wash kitchen items upon arrival and the presence of leftover medication, suggesting room for improvement in cleaning practices.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and suitability for coastal walks, with guests expressing delight in the local area and the views it offers.

Guests generally find the property comfortable, especially noting the quality of the beds. There is a single mention of a less comfortable bed on the second floor, but overall satisfaction with comfort is high.

The property is appreciated for its well-equipped nature and modern appliances. However, points are deducted for reported issues with a kettle, washer dryer, underfloor heating, and very hot water in the kitchen.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

We had to wash plates and hand plates, oven trays before we could use , on arrival. In the en-suite bathroom on the third floor., a persons medication ( expiry date Autumn 2023) has been left in the cupboard , we had to clean the toothpaste of the side of the sink unit. Chocolate spots on pillow cases also noted. Other items only got higher scores due to us being regular visitors over many years to Harebell. Your cleaning team need some re-training , if being polite .

It subsequently became too costly . We are delighted to see it back with this agent at a fair cost . It’s a beautiful house with everything you need and more .

Only two things which would make it even better 1) If you could split one of the beds into a twin 2) Better instructions of where to put the rubbish Other than that fabulous
