The village of Taynuilt is situated 12 miles from the bustling town of Oban. The village offers a Post Office, pub, hairdresser, toy shop, newsagents, butchers, grocers, tearooms and a 9 hole golf course. The area is a haven for hill walkers and nature lovers, and Oban has a number of amenities to suit all tastes.

Great location. Helpful recommendations from the host. Itâs close to amazing places and a very short walk to a Loch with a beach. We had a wonderful holiday. Also a nice touch, there was a doggy package on arrival as well as milk and shortbread Many thanks Ian

The location was ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland (I agree with a previous reviewer that it would be helpful to have a visitors book for sharing recommendations!). We would definitely recommend The Knowe, and hope to return.
