Absolutely without a doubt recommend this peaceful getaway. Everything is at an exemplary standard, honestly there wasn't a single thing to NOT like about our stay at Glenkens Lodge. An eco friendly rustic inspired Lodge that was clearly well thought through and built equally so. Come rain or shine the views overlooking towards the Water of Ken were magnificent with a bench available at the top of the hill a short walk up from the lodge itself providing a glorious uninterrupted view for miles around, the variety of Birdlife on your doorstep was also a delight to watch from the balcony. A plethora of information about local places to visit, hike or dine at were on hand so even if you visit with only a few plans of your own there's no end of local knowledge to make use of! A special thanks to the warm and welcoming host Merle!

Wonderful and cosy cabin with fantastic views. It had all we need for a self-catering stay, plus more. The log burner was so lovely of a cold evening post exploring the lochs. Lovely garden area. We sat and watching the stars on a clear evening, there's not a light to be seen anywhere.
