Snaptrip says

Bumblebee Cottage in Stranraer is a well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its comfort, welcoming touches, and suitability as a home from home. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and convenient location for exploring local attractions. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with guests often feeling well catered for and relaxed during their stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable. However, one review mentioned that cleanliness could be improved with more attention to detail, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

While the reviews mention the property's handy location for exploring local areas, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location.

The comfort of Bumblebee Cottage is consistently highlighted, with guests mentioning comfy beds, high-quality bed linen, and a cosy atmosphere, contributing to a restful and enjoyable stay.

The cottage is equipped to a high standard, though some guests suggested the addition of another large pan and the provision of a recycling bin. A request for a comprehensive information booklet indicates a need for better communication regarding the facilities.

Guests were touched by the thoughtful welcome pack and flowers, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While such gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that these are subject to change and not guaranteed.

Some areas could do with a little tlc, ie garden, patio, some areas a little grubby. In view of this we ask for a part refund. On the whole we had a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The comfy beds and high quality bed linen were much appreciated. Well equipped. Another large pan with lid would have helped with cooking, I had to juggle things in the microwave. Please put together a booklet with information on the cottage, heating, recycling, local amenities etc- there wasn't one. The lack of a recycling bin was peculiar.
