Snaptrip says

Stable Cottage is highly praised for its peaceful, rural setting and cosy atmosphere, complete with a hot tub and log burner. Guests appreciate the welcoming hosts and the property's cleanliness. The cottage's location offers a perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire, with some noting the charm of being on a working farm. While the approach road received some criticism, the overall experience is one of relaxation and comfort, ideal for both families and couples.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests commenting on its immaculate condition. One review mentioned the oven and glasses could be cleaner, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall positive feedback.

The location is generally appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests found the rural setting and the bumpy approach road challenging, which slightly affects the score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and homely feel. The presence of a log burner and hot tub adds to the comfort level. A few guests mentioned the beds being uncomfortable, but these comments are relatively few compared to the overall positive feedback.

The facilities, including the hot tub, log burner, and farm setting, are well-received. The maintenance of the access road and some minor issues were noted, but the quick response from the hosts to any problems is positively highlighted.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with gestures like a warm welcome, helpful tips, and occasional gifts such as wine and chocolates. While these gifts are warmly received, they are a complimentary bonus and not a guaranteed amenity for every stay.

Hosts were invisible unless you needed them. The design had been carefully considered which worked well and the hot tub was fantastic and we made sure it was used every day regardless of the weather! The seaside towns are not too far away for days out however just relaxing at the cottage for the day was just as much fun. Highly recommended.

Paul the owner always available for anything we needed, thanks! Nice hot tub and open log fire! On the minus side it was miles from anywhere - the week’s weather was awful hardly stopped raining and I have to be honest and report the narrow approach road to the cottage was difficult to manoeuvre due to the road erosion due to the heavy rain ! Overall 6/10

Such a lovely conversion, comfortable and homely throughout. We arrived in snow, unusual for the area. This made access to the farm where the cottage is very challenging to say the least. However, the care and concern shown by Paul was excellent. He checked in on us when we'd arrived to make sure we had supplies, even providing us with milk as we had none. The hot tub was excellent and preheated on our request. The fire was set, ready for us to light. The owners had kindly changed the welcome bottle of fizz to a non alcoholic one on our request. An enduring memory will be enjoying the hot tub while it snowed on us! And also curling up by the fire with a good book. Great retreat and we'd definitely book again.
