The Beach House in Llanelli is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its proximity to the beach and local amenities. The property is appreciated for its comfort, well-equipped kitchen, and the thoughtful welcome treats provided by the hosts. While some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the majority found the house to be a comfortable and convenient base for exploring South Wales.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the property spotlessly clean, while others noted areas that were overlooked. Under beds and around furniture were mentioned as needing attention, and one guest commented on a dusty environment not suitable for asthma sufferers.

The location is generally well-regarded, with guests enjoying the short walk to the beach and the convenience of nearby shops and eateries. The property serves as a good base for exploring the surrounding areas, although a few guests found the immediate area less appealing.

Guests have found the property very comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The garden and parking facilities also contributed to the overall comfort of the stay.

The property is praised for being well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with the oven and Wi-Fi, and there were comments about the need for updating some appliances and fixtures.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly for the welcome treats such as milk, tea, and biscuits. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is noted that such treats are a courtesy and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

A charming terraced cottage set back from the main road within half a mile of the beach in the South Wales town of Llanelli. Ideal for a traditional family holiday, the beach is just a short stroll away and the property features delightful seaside touches to get you in the spirit. Three comfortable bedrooms at this Llanelli cottage are situated on the first floor alongside a family bathroom, whilst on the ground floor, a welcoming sitting room encourages you to relax after a wonderful day out and about. Prepare family meals in the kitchen, before enjoying the last of the sun’s rays in the rear garden, a wonderful sun trap area for alfresco dining and BBQs. Within walking distance of this Llanelli cottage are a selection of shops and pubs and there is even a local fish and chip shop for those evenings when you don’t fancy cooking. Cyclists and walkers can soak up the stunning scenery on the designated paths which run along the coast, whilst children of all ages will love building sandcastles on the sandy beach. Visit nearby Pembrey with its dry ski slope and motor racing circuit, or have a flutter on the horses at Ffos Las. An array of days out will be enjoyed by all, ensuring everyone finds something to make this Llanelli holiday cottage a place to remember.

The traditional mining town of Llanelli is located on the mouth of the River Loughor. This extensively redeveloped area now has new additions to offer visitors to the area including a theatre and shopping centre and of course still impresses visitors with the scenic Millennium Coastal Path.

I was with my 3 children. We had a wonderful time. My 7 year old wanted to write a review as she has been doing these in school so her words are below: We had a glorious time amazing shops, went to Primark, found some really nice clothes, bought them, and we also found some chocolate fingers on the table when we arrived. Had really lovely beaches with nice fresh air. Very friendly people. Went to the Toby Carvery, had amazing food. Went to Asda and bought some food which was amazing and loved how many eggs they had. Went home and had a nice time. Highly recommend.
