Snaptrip says

Puffin Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches like welcome packs. The hot tub is a popular feature, and the property is well-equipped for a relaxing stay. While the location is quiet and ideal for local exploration, some guests noted a drive is needed for amenities and attractions. The hosts are commended for their attentiveness.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the lodge as clean, spotless, and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to beaches, though some guests mentioned a need to drive to visit local attractions, suggesting a good but not perfect location score.

Reviews frequently mention the lodge's comfort, well-stocked amenities, and the luxury of the hot tub, reflecting a high level of guest comfort.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the hot tub and well-equipped lodge. However, one report of maintenance issues slightly lowers the score.

Many guests were delighted by the welcome packs and extra treats, showing thoughtfulness from the hosts. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, future guests should consider this a delightful possibility rather than an expectation.

The lodge was very luxurious. It definitely exceeded our expectations. It even had a sea view in the distance. Little extras which we weren’t expecting were thoughtful and a lovely touch. The site was very well maintained, clean and quiet - the perfect spot to chill! The location was close to beautiful beaches, stunning countryside, the coastal path and there were many interesting places nearby to visit - you could relax but never be bored! Look forward to returning soon!
